The Chambers Lab at UMass, Amherst.

This lab represents a true fusion of chemistry and biology. More specifically, medicinal and organic chemistry coupled with neurobiology.

The BIG goals of the Chambers Lab.

    1) To understand, in never-before-possible detail, how memories form in the mammalian brain.
    2) To enhance memory formation through new pharmaceuticals.
    3) To understand more about and prevent epilepsy.
    4) To prevent and/or reverse Alzheimer’s Disease.
